EvTrack is the evidence management system used throughout our compartmentation surveys, fire door inspections and remedial works projects.

It was developed in-house to maintain a clear record of survey findings, recommended actions, completed works and supporting evidence. The system provides a structured approach to tracking fire safety information from initial inspection through to the closure of remedial actions.

Why the evidence matters

In fire safety, evidence is often as important as the work itself. Compartmentation breaches are sealed, service penetrations are enclosed and fire door components are concealed within assemblies. Maintaining accurate records throughout surveying and remedial works provides a traceable record of what was found, what action was taken and the evidence available at the time compliance decisions were made.

How EvTrack works across a project

During a survey, findings are recorded with photographs and referenced against building floor plans. Each finding is classified and assigned a recommended remedial action. A numbered survey report is then issued, providing a record of the condition of the inspected elements at the time of survey.

Where remedial works are required, EvTrack is used to track progress and retain supporting evidence of completed works. This creates a continuous record linking the original finding, the remedial action undertaken and the evidence submitted for review.

1. Survey

   Findings recorded with photographs, referenced against floor plans, classified and assigned a recommended remedial action.

2. Report

   A numbered survey report is issued, recording the condition of the inspected elements at the time of survey.

3. Remedial works

   Progress tracked and supporting evidence of completed works retained.

4. Record

   A continuous record links the original finding, the remedial action undertaken and the evidence submitted for review.

A clear audit trail

The system supports the management of fire safety information by maintaining a clear audit trail throughout the lifecycle of a project. This assists in demonstrating what was identified, what actions were taken and what evidence was available at each stage.
